Sharing a poem I wrote in May 2005. OMG! I can’t believe it has actually been over 14 years now.

Let the winds blow you away from me
Let the thunderstorm mute our cries
Let the morning mist fade you away
Let the rain slip you down my eyes

Though the sky is so exotic tonight
And the blossoms smell so good this time
Though the nightingale sings of love now
And the stars so exquisitely shine

We shall wait for time to decide
One day, the moments will have to agree
Since this world is a witness of our love
I will wait for you while you await me
