Good morning and happy Friday everyone! Sorry for being away from the blog for a month. My domain company was driving me totally insane and office did occupy me more than usual. On 22nd June, Mama and Waliya (my youngest sister) both had their birthdays. Nataliya (my elder sister) and I never really made so much effort for their Birthdays as we did this year. The reason was that both of them had their milestone birthdays and we really wanted to make Mama feel as special as possible (Sorry Waliya! :p).
I wrote a blog for both of them on their birthday. The link for the posts is here in case you missed out on them. Basically I used the same text to make this journal for Mama. I just added some cartoons and doodles on it. In this post, I will give you a photo tour of this journal. Let me know if you like it.
I’m so happy Mama loved this journal. She re-read it over and over and went hysterical laughing whenever I found her with it. It made me love her more. She said she had one of the best birthdays of her life. Here is her blog post which she wrote about the day she received this from me along with our other presents. Nataliya (my older sister) had an idea that we will contact her close friends from all over the world and ask them to send us videos sharing memories with her. I combined all the videos and played them for her when she least expected it. She laughed like anything.
This is certainly a shocking and a genuine Testimony. This is so adorable and heartfelt. The love you hold for your Mom is amazing! But certainly not unexpected. I'm so glad to have a friend like you and your younger sister Waliya! Both of you have brought Pakistan closer to my heart than I ever thought possible. But back to your Mom.
