Smart finds for your home. Curated Picks for a Cozy, Functional Home

I thought moving into a new house would mean a fresh start with fewer things—but wow, was I wrong! Once we settled in, I realized just how many little solutions we needed to make our space feel like home.

Thankfully, Temu came to the rescue with budget-friendly finds that didn’t break the bank. So many of you have asked about the items we used, and I’m excited to finally share them! Below you’ll find links to our favorite purchases, organized by room. I hope they help you create your own cozy, functional dream home too.

Living Room

Nyra’s Room

  • Study table – Nyra ofcourse wanted pink but I convinced her for grey so Zyem can take over later without daddy being mad.
  • Bunk bed – This was an expensive option but since zyem was less than 2, we wanted to get a baby-proof kind of option. Also wanted extra storage so this works great.
  • Bookshelf – Wanted something like this for a while but no other designs would fit. Recently, Waliya shared link of this one. Love that this fits in small spaces.
  • Vanity table – Wanted Nyra to have a space for her hair accessories & hair stuff so she can independently get ready everyday.
  • Nyras flowery room stickers – Love them!
  • Rug – Wanted her to have a fluffy cozy rug where she can lay down or play
  • Stuffy organizer – Love this as she loves her stuffies so much & now they have a home
  • Chair – I avoided buying this for years as it was expensive but finally had to get this as nothing else available in this quality.
  • Light for her closet – It has a sensor so its great for her cupboard.
  • Pink Folding board – Nyra happily finally folds all her clothes.
  • LED desk light – for her study table.
  • Wooden Hanging hooks – for Nyra to hang her bags etc.
  • ‘You Can do Hard Things’ Wall hanging – Sometimes they need this reminder 🙂
  • Nyras room Noise machine – Got it long ago. But sharing link here as its super useful.
  • Toy shelf – Marketplace

Zyem’s Room

Master Bedroom

  • My folding treadmill – Love it so much. Not a single day that I missed my daily walk yet. So worth the money except stats are not correct if you are after stats. Maybe a bigger investment is better. This is great for me though. I just time my walk myself.
  • My dressing table – I love it so much. It had a difficult assembly but Haaris does it well.
  • My vanity stool – Love it as its fluffy textured and has space for my jaenamaz & dupatta.
  • Summer blanket fleece – Looks so beautiful & super comfy.
  • Heat pad – Such a feel-good product. My husband gets a break from my freezing cold feet too 🙂

Temu:

If you clicked through those links, you’ve probably noticed—I bought a lot from Temu! One thing I quickly learned: always measure before you order. Some items looked much bigger in the product photos than they actually were, so measuring made all the difference. When I took the time to check dimensions, I ended up with exactly what I needed.

Also, if something didn’t work out, Temu’s refund process was super easy—every return I requested was handled instantly. Overall, I’ve had a great experience shopping there and would definitely recommend it. One issue shopping from here is that it has a minimum shopping amount which makes it a bit cumbersome esp for small purchases.

Disclaimer:

I tried to include links of most things. If you can’t find link of something you see, it could’ve been from Marketplace that has no links. Also, some items bought from stores aren’t on their websites and thus don’t have links. Please avoid messaging me for links not mentioned here. You can always get ideas from my post and find something similar that works for you. Best of luck.

Thank you
