Truly feeling overjoyed and delighted about the surprise baby shower that our friends threw for us this Sunday, the 18th of August 2019.
Haaris was told about the surprise party plan some weeks ago. They all kept it a secret from me. A day earlier, Haaris asked me to be ready in the afternoon as he wants to take me out. I was curious to know but I thought he’s either taking me on a boat ride or a lunch out (just the two of us). In the afternoon, he was driving and he asked me to wear a blindfold before we got off the car.
Not even in my wildest dreams was I expecting our friends to throw us such a grand baby shower. When we walked into Jens house, the blindfold was removed and I saw all our friends together, I literally got tears in my eyes as I was so touched.
So so sweet of Jen and Amber to plan it all especially for us. Special thanks to Jen for all the alluring party decorations, the grand layout of snacks (including my favourite Fortune donuts), arrangement of presents and for hosting the whole party at her place. Also, Amber for planning all the fun games. We thoroughly enjoyed each one. There were three games which we played as follows:
- DIY onesie designing using fabric markers
- Guess the belly circumference
- Guess the price of baby products
The winners got candies.
I am so thankful to each and every one of our friends from the bottom of my heart for such thoughtful and adorable baby presents and for taking out the time and effort to make it the most special day for me. I loved how each of the gifts is so useful and definitely handy. Our baby will be so lucky to have such great aunts and uncles.
