Mini Travel Series: Peggy's Cove -

Ever since we moved to Halifax, Nova Scotia, everyone had been asking us to go and see Peggy’s Cove. This is Nova Scotia’s No. 1 tourist spot.

Last Wednesday evening (29th of August, 2018), our Brazilian friends called us to accompany them to Peggy’s Cove to see the sunset. We were thrilled and packed up snacks and a beach towel. The drive was absolutely gorgeous as there were many beautiful lakes on the way.

This place has stunning natural beauty. It’s a perfect day out with absolutely gorgeous views of St. Margaret’s Bay side of the Atlantic ocean.

It is only an hours drive from downtown Halifax. We sat at the edge of Atlantic ocean and watched the sun go down while we chatted and relaxed with the wind in our hair.♥️

The lighthouse at Peggy’s Cove is world famous! Peggy’s Point Lighthouse is one of Nova Scotia’s most well-known lighthouses and the most photographed in Canada. Located in the quaint fishing village of Peggy’s Cove along the South Shore, it was built in 1915.

Peggy’s Cove is famed for its picturesque and typically East-Coast profile and has an active fishing community.

Perfect day, perfect weather and perfect company MA. 😍Highly recommended!
