The wonders of Phitkari

Good afternoon readers! Today we will be discussing the wonders of Phitkari. It was only recently when I learned about this wonder crystal. I had been hearing about  the bad effects of antiperspirant deodorants for a while now. It made sense that these block our pores so we don't sweat at all from those areas. I am very sensitive about smell or wet patches so I have been happy using 48 hours protection antiperspirant deodorants of the highest quality all my life. I have been spending a lot on these imported deodorants as well.

Organic Radiance - Part IV: Hair care

Hi girls. Today on Organic Radiance, we will be discussing a few easy-to-make hair masks. I will be keeping the post as short as possible and only sharing the best recipes for hair masks I've found so far. I didn't go into benefits of the following as it gets too lengthy. Masks with a thin consistency can be poured into a spray bottle and sprayed onto hair thoroughly. For thicker mixtures, the best way to apply natural hair mask is with a hair dye brush on scalp and roots. After applying the mixture, its best to wear a shower cap for better absorption. I have kept an extra shower cap in my washroom only for hair masks. It’s one from my stay at a hotel. Those are quite thin and are perfect for this.

Organic Radiance - Part II

Dear beautiful women. Today we will start talking about all my favorite herbal and natural products. If any of you missed out the first part of this post, please click here. Many ladies don't realize that we won't have a replenishment of our skin in this life time. Therefore, we must have a routine for our skin to be able to breathe. We must never go to bed without removing makeup and moisturizing our skin. Similarly, we must find a time (daily or weekly) which we dedicate to our skin. What I do is that when I have to take a shower, I apply one of the herbal products being discussed in this post, I then start cleaning up my room, sorting clothes etc. Fifteen minutes later, I take a shower.  This has worked for me perfectly for a long time. The reason why I love using natural products on my skin is that they have absolutely no side effects and hardly cost anything.

Its heartbreaking when I see girls running after skin specialists, wasting thousands of rupees on harsh medicines in an effort to enhance their skin.  Honestly speaking, after working in medical sector, I realized its all about business and money in this industry just like all others. We will never hear doctors telling us to use Aloe Vera, Turmeric powder or Sandlewood powder, because it doesn't go with their business policy. I keep trying to convince my friends to use natural products which actually work wonders and are good for the skin instead of running after doctors. During this first part of the post, we will start with the herbal products which I believe are most important and effective. Todays post will cover:
·         Rosewater
·         Sandlewood powder
·         Ubtan
·         Aloe vera
·         Vaseline/Petroleum jelly
·         Besan/Gram flour
·         Multani Mitti/Fuller's earth

Organic Radiance - Part I

I have been a great believer in natural products for years now. I myself  did my research and finally found the most suitable products for the skin. One may debate that what ever works for me may not necessarily work for all of you girls out there. But the fact is that I have extra sensitive skin that gets rashes from any liquid touching my skin. Even water (tears, shower, sweat) irritate my skin. So if these natural products suit me and have no side effects on me, I’m sure they will work wonders on your skin too. Also these natural products can be used on normal, oily, dry and combination skin types, so everyone can benefit from these.  Herbal products do not have any chemicals so no need to worry about any side effects either.
