We finally did Georges Island Tour⌠one of the most historic defence points in the harbour. It was such perfect Weather.
Halifax ka chhota sa island, lekin tunnel system kafi gehra.
Purane zamane ke defence tunnels â thanday, narrow, aur fascinating. đ§ built in the 1800s, once used by soldiers to find refuge beneath the fort.
Honestly bohot yaadgar day trip.
Kabhi kabhi bas ek simple tour bhi dil ko refresh kar deta hai.
Weather was beautiful, the tour was simple, and the history was surprisingly deep.
Sometimes the smallest islands hold the biggest stories.

We booked the official Parks Canada tour via Ambassatours. Tickets were approx $25 per person for the roundâtrip ferry & island access inc tunnel tour.

We celebrated our 11th wedding anniversary yesterdayâ
with our fav beach cafĂŠ morning,
a peaceful dinner (rare!),
and our first dance night since having kids.
It reminded us how deeply couples need this time.
Not fancy, not extravagant⌠just uninterrupted moments
to remember who you are together.
Kids dadi babysat this time but really manifesting trusted friends
who babysit each otherâs kids
so couples gets nights like this đ¤
super important for thriving relationships

A few more details. A day filled with gratitude to celebrate our biggest blessings Alhamdulillah â¤ď¸ A birthday party spread across three backyards. Cake, Candles & Community.
We planned it so the kids could play freely â Hot Wheels slides, water table/guns, trampoline, bubbles, biking, sandplay, playground, playkitchen, car rides, painting, playground, digger zone, treasure hunts â and the parents could relax and enjoy.
Preloved treasures, plants giveaways, homemade mango sponge cake, and some comfort food.
Celebrating Nyra & ZyemâŚ.
And one full year in this home, this neighbourhood, this community that feels like family.
Grateful for every smile, every helping hand, every little moment. â¤ď¸đ
