Quench Your Thirst This Iftar With Frothy Lassi

 

After water and dates, there is nothing more satisfying at Iftar time than a yummy glass of home-made Lassi. It is revitalizing, energizing and gives you that perfect kick to boost the rest of your day. It’s also super easy to make. Here’s how:

Time: 5 minutes

Servings: 4-5 glasses

Ingredients

  • Nestle Yogurt: 3-4 Table spoons
  • Sugar: 3 Table spoons
  • Ice Cubes: 5-6
  • Milk: 2.5 glasses
  • Cream (optional): 1-2 Table spoons

Method

  • In a food processor/blender, add ice, sugar, yogurt and half glass milk for 30 seconds
  • Add the rest of the ingredients and blend for half a minute or so
  • Garnish it with crushed pistachios (optional)
  • Serve it in stem/wine glasses

Note

In exactly the same recipe, if you reduce the yogurt to 1-2 Table spoons and add any fruit like strawberries, mango or banana, you will get a delicious smoothie.
