Coin Collection - My Latest Love!

I have been fascinated with stamp collection since childhood. This hobby brought me even closer to my Nani jaan who has been my mentor and taught me everything about it. She was really excited to see my passion for postage stamps as she could hand over her (and her grandpops) priceless albums to me. So basically I have inherited this hobby from my ancestors. Here is a link of my blog post where I discussed stamp collection hobby and shared a few pages from mine. Check out my coolest stamp albums guys! I swear, they can cheer me up like nothing else in the world.

Over the years because of traveling so much, I had coins just lying around with me. Recently, I decided to order a coin collection album and put all these spare coins in it. I was over the moon to receive this album through Ali Express (mobile app version as prices are cheaper there). Now my coins have nicely settled in their new home and they look so much brighter and happier now. Here's a little picture tour of my brand new coin album.

So... What Do You Do?

Socializing is very important for our well-being in many different ways. In order to mingle with others and to break the ice we have to start with some very basic questions like: 'What do you do?. Unfortunately, a lot of people these days don't have hobbies. So when you ask them this simple question, they will stare at you blankly and say "Nothing much! Watching TV and eating" or they will say "My children are my only hobbies. I have no time for anything else". I can't believe anyone can just waste away their life like that. You are missing out on so much which could contribute to enriching you and fulfilling your life's purpose. Hobbies play a major role in your contentment.

Vintage Key Display

I am generally not one of those people who can’t get rid of things because of their sentimental value. I think I am pretty down to earth when it comes to most things which are no longer being used. I am the one in the house who has been throwing away empty perfume bottles from my mom’s dressing table and telling her that she needs to forget who gave them the scent and remember that they’re finished. My family likes to hold on to memories far more than I do.

My Love for Postage Stamps

I feel I'm really lucky to be born in a family who always encouraged me to have hobbies. From a very young age I developed the interest of collecting stamps. Stamp Collection is the collection of postage stamps and related objects. It is one of the world's most popular hobbies (at least it used to be). A hobby is a regular activity done for pleasure - typically during leisure. It is the perfect Me-Me time where you can enjoy your time alone. Postal stamps always intrigued me with their intricate detail and fascinating history. They also increased my love for learning about different countries, cultures, currencies and lifestyles.
